JCBLC-2003A Microcomputer-Based Sulfur-Chlorine Analyzer
The instrument operates on the principle of dynamic microcoulometry. The sample to be analyzed is combusted in a pyrolysis tube, where redox reactions occur; the resulting products are carried by the carrier gas into the titration cell, where they are converted into titratable ions and react with electrogenerated I3⁻ or Ag⁻. By measuring the charge consumed during the electrolytic titration of I3⁻ or Ag⁻, and applying Faraday’s law, the total sulfur or total chlorine content of the sample can be determined.

Overview:
◆ The instrument operates on the principle of dynamic microcoulometry.
