The JCB5304-02 petroleum asphalt thin-film oven is used to determine the effects of heat and air on petroleum asphalt films. The instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of standards GB/T 5304-2001, JTG E20-2011 (specifically the asphalt thin-film heating test, T0609-2011), and ASTM D1754. It is suitable for measuring the mass change of road petroleum asphalt and polymer-modified asphalt after thin-film heating, and, as needed, for determining changes in properties such as penetration, ductility, softening point, and viscosity of the residual film, thereby evaluating the aging resistance of the asphalt.
