JCB269-01 Grease Multi‑Cycle Shear Tester

This specialized testing instrument was designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T 269, “Method for Determining Penetration of Lubricating Greases and Petroleum Greases,” and with reference to international standard ISO 2137, “Method for Determining Penetration of Lubricating Greases and Petroleum Greases,” as well as other relevant standards that specify requirements for full‑size penetration devices. It is suitable for determining the working penetration or extended working penetration of lubricating greases and petroleum greases under these standards, and for conducting shear tests up to 60 cycles or 100,000 cycles. After mechanical shearing, the consistency of the grease changes; the penetration test is then performed to assess the mechanical stability of the lubricating grease or petroleum grease.

   Performance Features

  1. This instrument is a double-acting reciprocating testing device.

  2. The instrument consists of an electric motor coupling, a reducer, an eccentric mechanism, a working unit, and a base, among other components.

  3. A plum-blossom-type flexible coupling is used to connect the reducer and the motor, ensuring smooth operation.

  4. The reducer adopts a box-type gear structure; the base is fabricated from thick steel plate, ensuring robustness and durability.

  5. A digital timer is used to control the number of cuts, which can be set arbitrarily by the user.

  6. Automatically displays and records the number of shear cycles; when the set number of cycles is reached, the machine stops automatically.
