This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the People’s Republic of China national standard GB/T 7325, and is suitable for determining the evaporation loss of lubricating oils and greases. During the test, the lubricant sample placed in the evaporator is subjected to a constant‑temperature bath at a prescribed temperature, while hot air is passed over the sample surface for 22 hours. The evaporation loss is calculated based on the weight loss of the sample.
