JCB0259-01 Lubricant Thermal Oxidation Stability Tester


This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national petrochemical industry standard SH/T 0259, “Method for Determining the Thermal Oxidative Stability of Lubricating Oils.” It is suitable for assessing the thermal oxidative stability of lubricating oils and for evaluating the tendency of lubricants to form varnish‑like deposits on engine components (particularly near the piston rings), as well as for determining the effectiveness of additives in mitigating such deposit formation. The apparatus employs a high‑precision digital temperature controller and a microcontroller‑based digital timer for temperature regulation and timing monitoring, ensuring convenient and reliable operation. The instrument incorporates a stainless‑steel varnish‑forming chamber and a glass extraction vessel, featuring excellent thermal insulation and a temperature range that can reach 400°C ± 1°C.
