JCB12579-01 Lubricant Foam Characteristics Tester


This instrument is a specialized testing device designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T 12579-2002, “Method for Determining the Foaming Characteristics of Lubricating Oils,” and is used to assess the tendency of fuels, lubricating oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils, and other petroleum products to form foam, as well as the stability of that foam.

  This instrument is a specialized testing device designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T 12579-2002, “Method for Determining the Foaming Characteristics of Lubricating Oils,” and is used to assess the tendency of fuels, lubricating oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils, and other petroleum products to form foam, as well as the stability of that foam.

  1. Temperature control range: 0°C to 99.9°C (low temperature: 24°C, high temperature: 93.5°C)

  2. Temperature control accuracy: ±0.5℃

  3. Flow meter: with regulating valve, 16–160 ml/min

  4. Flow rate control: 16–160 mL/min, adjustable

  5. Air Source: Built-in air source, 3 L/min

  6. Gas diffusion head: 3,000–6,000 ml/min

  7. Cooling method: Immersion-type chiller
