This instrument is manufactured in accordance with the new SH/T 0175‑2004 standard and is suitable for determining the inherent oxidation stability of middle‑distillate fuel oils using the accelerated oxidation method. It is not applicable to fuel oils containing residual oil or to synthetic fuel oils whose principal constituents are non‑petroleum components. The instrument features a modular design, comprising three major sections and four main units: the cold bath, the dark box, the control unit, and the hot bath, each constituting an independent module. This instrument is easy to operate and offers high accuracy.

It is not applicable to fuel oils containing residual oil or to synthetic fuel oils whose principal constituents are non‑petroleum components. Instrument features:
1. The pressure regulator ensures a constant flow rate of test oxygen.
2. The constant-temperature bath features a large capacity and excellent thermal insulation, and can simultaneously accommodate six sample tests.
3. After the test, the oxidation tube can be placed directly into the dark box for cooling at room temperature.
4. The oxidation time of the sample is automatically controlled; when the set time elapses, the system triggers an alarm and shuts off the oxygen supply.
5. The entire unit is designed as a floor-standing model, with four adjustable feet at the base for easy relocation.
Technical Specifications
1. Oxygen flow meters: Six oxygen flow meters allow independent adjustment of the test flow rate.
2. Test flow rate: 50 ± 5 mL/min.
3. Temperature control accuracy: 95 ± 0.1℃
4. Oxidation tube: Made of borosilicate glass, compliant with SH/T0175-94 standard.
5. Oxidation pressure regulator: To ensure stable oxidation, a pressure regulator is installed upstream of the flow meter.
6. Sample filter: The filter membrane is a cellulose acetate membrane, with a diameter of 50 mm and a pore size of 0.8 μm.
7. Dark box: Made of metal, it can hold six oxidation tubes.
