1. Standards Applied: GB/T 6536-2010, ASTM D86, ASTM D850, ASTM D1078 – IP195, ISO 3405—Methods for Determining the Atmospheric Distillation Characteristics of Petroleum Products; GB/T 255—Method for Determining the Distillation Range of Petroleum Products; GB/T 7534-2004—Determination of the Boiling Range of Industrial Volatile Organic Liquids, including the distillation range of methanol and alcohol products; GB/T 615-2006—Determination of the Boiling Range of Chemical Reagents; GB/T 3146.1-2010—Determination of the Boiling Range of Industrial Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Benzene-Based Chemical Products; GB/T 26984-2011—Determination of the Distillation Range of Crude Oil; GB/T 2282—Determination of the Distillation Range of Coking Light Oil Products; GB/T 18255-2000—Determination of the Boiling Range (Volumetric Method) of Coking Viscous Oil Products.
2. The dual channels can operate independently at the same time, enabling simultaneous analysis of gasoline and diesel.
3. Temperature measurement range: 0–500°C ±0.01°C.
4. Temperature-sensing element: Original PT100 temperature sensor from B-B Corporation, USA.
5. Volume Measurement Range: 0–100 ± 0.01 mL (U.S.-imported laser‑based graduated cylinder reading system). Equipped with an imported liquid‑level tracking system that measures the level point‑by‑point; the instrument automatically divides 100 mL into 10,000 steps, advancing in increments of 0.01 mL. It directly measures the lower tangent of the liquid surface, achieving the same scale‑reading accuracy as visual observation, with no interference from sunlight or artificial lighting. Whether the liquid surface is transparent or not, measurement and level tracking remain unaffected, making it suitable for oil samples of any color. The device features a built-in graduated‑cylinder recognition system, eliminating the need to replace the cylinder and recalibrate each time; it also includes a proprietary cylinder‑chip identification feature unique in China.
5. Distillation rate: 0–10 mL/min, freely adjustable to meet experimental requirements; the standard rate is 4–5 mL/min. Digital input ensures more user-friendly operation.
6. Condenser temperature range: 0–100 ± 0.1 °C; the cooling bath temperature can be controlled via a segmented program, and the instrument is equipped with two imported compressor‑based refrigeration systems. The bath contains antifreeze with a circulation system, ensuring uniform temperature control while minimizing evaporation and flammability, allowing for long‑term operation without replacement.
6. Temperature control range of the graduated cylinder: 0–room temperature; the recovery chamber is equipped with a fan to ensure uniform temperature distribution and excellent sealing, preventing air convection and ensuring that the liquid collected inside the cylinder does not evaporate, thereby achieving more accurate volume recovery.
7. Display Function: A 10-inch color LCD touch screen with a fully Chinese-language operating interface; volume and temperature parameters can be set arbitrarily; the experimental process displays a temperature–volume curve, and records the values at each set point. Additionally, the device features access‑control functionality to prevent unauthorized personnel from modifying its critical settings.
8. Operating System: Windows XP; the software is upgradable and uses Dairite operating software.
9. Heating System: Equipped with advanced silicon carbide ceramic heaters and a high‑power PID current source, it operates at low voltage with high current, ensuring long service life and minimal heat loss. The furnace features automatic lifting and lowering during heating, and after the test is completed, it automatically switches to air cooling.
10. Safety Features: cold bath liquid level sensor protection, automatic nitrogen fire suppression, over-temperature protection, over-volume protection, over-power protection, start-up inhibition when no graduated cylinder is present, sensor failure alert, and a built-in atmospheric pressure sensor with a measurement range of 300–1100 hPa, an accuracy of 0.1 hPa, and integrated correction functionality.
11. Error Correction: Users can set parameters according to actual conditions, enabling rapid calculation of measurement results and associated errors. If the measured result exceeds the allowable tolerance, the instrument will automatically initiate a re‑measurement. Calibration must be performed using standard oil samples to correct for errors.
12. Data Acquisition: The instrument automatically saves over a thousand measurement results and features a built-in miniature thermal printer with a 40-column dot-matrix display, delivering quieter, faster, and clearer printing. Experimental results can be printed automatically.
13. Correction Function: Allows calibration of atmospheric pressure, vapor temperature, sensors, and graduated cylinders.
14. Interface Outputs: Network interface, USB/RS‑232 communication interface for connection to a host computer, facilitating integration into a centralized management system. The instrument can be linked to a LIMS system and can also be operated via a PC or touchscreen, with the option to switch between these control methods (additional charge applies for PC integration). External wireless mouse and keyboard functionality is supported, enabling online connectivity with a computer for uploading experimental data and remote control. Experimental data is stored indefinitely and can be exported in Word and Excel formats for analysis and statistical processing.
15: Voltage and Power: AC 220 V ±10%, 50 Hz; Power: 2400 W; a reliable grounding wire is required; operating temperature range: 10°C to 30°C.
16. Dimensions and Weight: 400×800×630 mm and 80 kg
17: Intelligent heating management system ensures that the distillation rate complies with the experimental method; standard methods can be selected at random, and the instrument comes preloaded with standard procedures. It automatically calculates the temperature values at standard atmospheric pressure based on the selected method.
18: Recording point—user-defined:
① Users can freely set the recovered volume corresponding to each temperature; for example: wash oil at 230 °C, 270 °C, and 300 °C.
② Users can freely set the temperature corresponding to the recorded recovered volume; for example, the detection temperature value at 92 mL of benzene can be arbitrarily modified by entering a new value.
③ Automatically records the monitoring points specified in the national standard,
Nineteen: Four Ways to End an Experiment:
① End at the endpoint: The experiment ends when the final distillation point is detected.
② End of dry point: Terminate the experiment when a dry point is detected.
③ Temperature termination: The experiment ends when the temperature reaches the value set by the user.
And print the output.
④ Volume termination: The experiment ends when the user-defined volume threshold is reached.
20: Includes one set of 100 mL frosted‑interface quartz flasks, one set of quartz heating support plates with apertures of Φ 38 and Φ 50, and two sets of custom‑made graduated cylinders.
